I am a photographer that is based in metro Detroit, MI. In 2019 I made the decision to purchase my first DSLR camera and pursue learning photography when I was going to travel to Germany for a family friend’s wedding and wanted to document the event and travels. Though this was the first time seriously dived into the world of photography I had always grown up with a camera and an interest in taking photos. I remember using disposable cameras to create product photography setups on my bed of anything and everything I could find in my bedroom. In middle school, I saved my money to purchase my first point-and-shoot camera (a 12-megapixel Olympus). I remember researching all of the specs of cameras within my budget. I think my parents were happy with upgrading to the camera because it meant saving money on developing film reels filled with random photos. I would photograph anything from flowers, pets, nature, and more. It wasn’t until recently that I decided to return to this passion and continue to capture moments and create art. since returning to photography I have been growing my experience in working with people photographing graduation photos, dance events, wedding second shooting, and photographing my favorite niece.
Aside from photography, I love to be outside going cycling, running, or hiking. This is what started my love for nature and my love to capture images of trails that I run or hike on. Professionally, I am a recent graduate from Michigan State University with a Master’s degree in Human Resources and Labor Relations. I sit on the board of South Lyon Pride and help coordinate the yearly LGBTQ+ Pride festival in South Lyon. I love food (tacos are my favorite), craft beer, and spending time with those that matter most to me.
